Target Shooting

Earlier this term, a number of students competed at the 2019 TSNZ Challenge Smallbore Rifle Target Shooting Competition. The Awatapu #1 Target Shooting Team (Xavier Hintz, Blake Feekery and Cameron Churchouse) came 20^th in the Boys’ Grade and the Awatapu #2 Target Shooting Team (Thomas Burgess, Brodie Schulze and Rowan Woods) came 17^th in the Mixed Grade.

In their individual pursuits, Xavier Hintz, Blake Feekery and Cameron Churchouse competed in the Boys’ Individual Grade, and Thomas Burgess, Casey Bowater, Haylie Whittaker, Stevan Hamblyn and Rowan Woods competed in the Rest Individual Grade. Well done to everyone who participated in this event.

Further congratulations to Xavier Hintz who was selected in the Manawatu Rifle Shooting Team and won the Regional Rifle Shooting Competition.
