Outward Bound - Term 1 Holidays

Outward Bound New Zealand is a non-profit organisation offering outdoor experimental learning courses to New Zealanders young and old. Based in Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds, Outward Bound are offering two courses during the April school holidays.

▪ School Leaders Course is offered once a year to current school leaders aged 16-18 years. The course is aimed at building teen resilience in a fun and healthy environment and connecting young leaders across the country. Places are limited and potential students need to provide evidence of their leadership position.

▪ Leaps & Bounds Course is the ultimate shared adventure for parents/caregiver and their teen (13-15 years). The 8 day course provides a challenging but supportive environment for teens and their parents to develop and strengthen their relationship without any of the usual digital distractions.

Offering a practical hands-on learning experience, Holden Street Smart is a programme that aims to add to, and compliment, the great work already undertaken by NZTA, NZ Police and others in the area of road safety and driving training.

This is a one-day event providing young drivers and their parents/caregivers the opportunity to undertake supervised driving practice. The Programme takes place in safe, controlled, off-the-road environments, under the watchful eye of qualified coaches plus the parent/caregiver.

Holden Street Smart will be delivering it’s programme in the Manawatu on Thursday 18 April or Friday 12 July at Manfeild Park in Feilding. Visit the Holden Street Smart website to register www.holdenstreetsmart.co.nz
