Swim-a-thon

The 3rd annual Swim-a-thon to raise funds for Special Olympics Manawatu is being held on Saturday 7 March between 1-5pm at the West End Pool, 198 College Street. The swim-a-thon is designed to get as many people active in the pool as possible - gaining sponsors for their efforts. It is something hopefully the whole family could do together while contributing to a great cause. If you are interested in getting involved, click here to download the pledge form.

In 2020 there will also be a team relay event - a one hour swim with a team of between 4 and 8 swimmers. The team who does the most laps during the hour would be the winner - cost to enter would be $50 per team. You would need to register your team and your preferred time to swim - payment of the entry fee can be paid on the day.
