Scholarship SuccessOutward Bound

Congratulations to Annelies Orme and Bobby Pritchard who were awarded full sponsorships to attend an Outward Bounds course during the October holidays. Annelies and Bobby joined 12 other students from around the Manawatu and embarked on a 21 day outdoor experience in Anakiwa. During the course, students went rock climbing, kayaking, tramping, had daily swims in the ocean and spent two nights alone in the bush. The experience taught the students many lessons, most importantly "you can do anything you set your mind to".

Congratulations also to Lucy Scrivener who has been awarded a scholarship from Rongotea Lions Club to attend an Outdoor Pursuits Challenge in December.
