Business Studies Boot Camp

During the Term One school holidays, two of our Year 13 students, Kris Mantjika and Zara Lawton, attended a business boot camp held at the Massey Campus in Auckland. The five-day boot camp gave the business students a unique opportunity to learn about the world of business and taught them valuable skills that they can apply to their studies. Around 70 students from more than 30 schools attended the course, with Kris being voted most likely to become a future CEO. Indeed a valuable experience for these students - we look forward to what lies ahead in their promising futures!

Inter-School Cross Country 2016

On Wednesday, 18 May a group of Awatapu's finest athletes represented Awatapu College at the Inter-School Cross Country Championship held at Manawatu College. The weather was very challenging and the new course was a tough one with plenty of hills. Our students all performed really well representing Awatapu College in a positive fashion.

We are proud to announce that our AWD (Athletes With Disabilities) team were the winners of the team's event and the Intermediate Boys' team came a great 2nd place!

Well done to all of our athletes and to their loyal supporters who braved the weather to cheer them on.
