This is an exciting week of activities where the vibrant and colourful cultures within our community are embraced and celebrated together. In all, over 30 nationalities were represented during the Festival showing the rich tapestry of culture within our school.

Road Safety Reminder

A reminder to parents and caregivers, when dropping-off or picking-up your child, please refrain from parking on the yellow lines down Botanical Road. We would ask that parents and caregivers use the bus bay or front carpark as drop-off/collection areas. Thank you.

Metal Masterpiece

Mural

Designed and created by students from our senior metalwork class, we are pleased to feature a new piece of metal artwork outside our 200 Block. The official unveiling took place on Monday 13 March. The sculptural work includes designs from a number of students, who drew ideas in response to a donation of steel to the school by Vulcan Steel. Students then transferred the design to the computer and used a plasma cutter to cut the design from the metal sheet. The new mural is 2m by 3m, and has been put to a wall next to the metalwork room. Thanks also to Mr Dowrick for his input with the project. The students involved were interviewed by the Manawatu Standard, click here to read the article.
