Snow Camp 2017

SnowCamp

In the last week of Term Three, twenty-four students went on the Snow Camp. Sixteen students were first timers and all keen to try skiing or boarding. The group stayed on the mountain in the Summit Ski Club, a well-appointed and warm club. Monday presented variable weather but the group made the most of it and spent the day having lessons and learning new tricks. On Tuesday the mountain was closed but, not to be daunted, students trudged out into the snow to build igloos and make snowmen. By Wednesday the storm had passed, and all but three students made it off the beginners’ slope and into the real field. What a wonderful experience for all to have! Bring on next year!

Congratulations

Congratulations to Bobby Pritchard, Walter Johnson and Kyann Williams for passing their Touch Rugby Module Refereeing certification. These students now have the opportunity to gain their Level One Touch New Zealand Badge in November.
