Puhoro Academy

Puhoro

On Monday 27 August the third and final wānanga for the Pūhoro STEM academy students was held at Massey University. This event followed a Biology theme with students completing epidemiology, veterinary science and anatomy practicals. Students were taught how to suture wounds, analyse crime scenes, and perform lung and heart dissections. These trips give students of Māori decent from around the region an amazing opportunity to investigate different careers in Science and make connections with Massey University.
