Pick-Up and Drop-Off Points

With the increasing roll, we are noticing more traffic congestion at the Botanical Road gates. This is causing issues with the school buses trying to enter and exit the bus bay. As such, we ask that parents/caregivers refrain from parking in or around the bus bay before and after school. We also ask that parents/caregivers avoid driving into the College grounds and refrain from parking on the yellow lines on Botanical Road. Pedestrians and cyclists are encouraged to use the side exit on Wikiriwhi Crescent.

Ethkick Tournament

Year 13 student, Jabul Shofi Rahman, recently competed in the annual Ethkick Tournament as part of the Rohingya Football Club of Palmerston North. The annual football tournament promotes diversity and inclusion through football, with the 40 teams representing the different ethnic groups that call Palmerston North home. School Trustee Elections 2019

2019 is an election year for school trustees. To encourage potential new trustees to stand for election, NZSTA are offering a new programme, Kōrari, to talk about what it really means to serve on a school Board. The hui will be facilitated by a regional adviser from NZSTA who will talk about the reality of being a trustee and share what support/training is available.

NZSTA will cover the cost of the hui including refreshments and will provide all resources needed.

Aotearoa Youth Declaration

Aotearoa Youth Declaration is a four-day conference run in April each year at the University of Auckland for high school students from around NZ who want to make a difference. At the conference, students work in groups with trained facilitators to develop solutions to problems around specific topics, such as climate action, gender equality, international relations, or heritage.
