Well done to Awatapu students Ella Daynes (Alice), Saskya Pepping (Cheshire Cat Trio), Lilly Rooney (Violet from the Flower Posey Posy) and Sarah Judd (Assistant Musical Director) who were involved in the Manawatu Youth Theatre production "Alice in Wonderland Jr" during the holidays. Hands On Food

Earlier this term, students involved in the Hands On Food course created a student hosted dinner as part of their learning. The course enables students to work together with the Wholegrain Organics kitchen in preparing and producing high quality products. Click this link to the Hands On Food website to learn more. 

Forestry Industry Expedition

Thanks to Southern North Island Wood Council for Palmerston North Schools for hosting several of our Year 11 students earlier this term. The students visited a range of sites learning about the whole industry - from planing, pruning, harvesting and saw milling.

Pūhoro Wānanga

Thanks to Massey University and the Puhoro Team for hosting our students at the Puhoro Wananga Day earlier this term. The students involved enjoyed the experience and learnt lots of practical science skills.
