Senior Honours Awards

Senior Honours Awards will be held on Wednesday 6 November 2019 at the Regent on Broadway at 7.30pm.

Students receiving an award must attend the practice on the same day. These students (along with all other students) will attend school in the morning as per normal. Buses will leave from the school for the Regent on Broadway at 10am and return to school at approximately 12 noon. They must travel by bus - private cars are not permitted. A roll will be taken at the theatre.

Attendance at Honours Awards on Wednesday evening is compulsory for all Year 11, 12 and 13 students. If students are unable to attend, a note must be presented to a Head of House. Students must be seated in the threatre by 7.20pm at the latest.

Year 11 students receiving an award must be in full school uniform. Girls must wear black leather lace up shoes and black stockings. Boys must wear black leather lace up shoes and school socks. Sandals are not permitted. All other students must be dressed formally. The College mufti code applies - please note that shorts, jeans, tee-shirts and sport shoes are not acceptable dress for Honours Awards.

Senior Honours - Early School Finish

School will close at 12.30pm on Wednesday 6 November 2019 due to Senior Honours preparations. If your child requires supervision until 3.15pm on this day, please contact Mr Hatch, Deputy Principal, on 06 356 4817 ext 8818. School buses will run as normal.

Mufti Day / Uniform Collection

Reminder, there is a mufti day on Monday 4 November 2019 (gold coin donation). Year 11 students participating in the uniform collection scheme must also bring their laundered items to the auditorium at 8.45am on this day. This is with the exception of Year 11 students receiving an award at Senior Honours who will need to retain their uniform to wear at the ceremony.

Year 10 Camps

Year 10 Camps run from Monday 25 November - Friday 29 November 2019. A final reminder that some may still have a balance owing for camps. If this is you, or if you are unsure, please contact the office. Students will be issued with camp letters outlining full trip details and permission forms in the coming weeks. Please note, camps are a privilege, not a right, and that the school reserves the right to remove a student from their selected camp. If your child is not attending camp, they will be expected to attend school at the normal time and participate in the non-campers programme.
