Manawatu Inter Secondary School Athletics

On Saturday 17 March, a team of 21 of Awatapu’s finest athletes competed at the Manawatu Inter-Secondary Schools Athletics. The team returned with three titles and 11 placings - an outstanding achievement! The following students also qualified for the North Island Inter-Secondary School Athletics: Noah Macdermid, Amelia McKay and Kyann Williams. Notable results were:

1st Places:

Noah Macdermid - Open Boys 3000m

2nd Places:
Kyann Williams - Junior Girls Triple Jump
Noah Macdermid - Senior Boys 1500m
