Hands-On Science Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Shannon Mihaere  who has been awarded the University of Otago Ngā Mahi-a-Ringa Pūtaiao Scholarship. This scholarship enables a number of Year 12 and 13 (in 2017) Māori students with the opportunity to travel to the University of Otago to participate in a week-long Hands-On-at-Otago programme in early 2017. All recipients of the Ngā Mahi-a-Ringa Pūtaiao Scholarships were selected based on their all-round academic ability, a school report highlighting their attitude to learning, and a reference from a Science teacher or HOD Science highlighting the applicant’s passion for Science. Congratulations, Shannon, you are a very deserving recipient.
