Whakamana Taiohi Awards

On Thursday 1 November we will be celebrating our Whakamana Taiohi Awards. These awards are to acknowledge the success and achievements of our Maori and Pasifika students. Parents and caregivers are invited to attend the awards at 6.00pm in the College Auditorium. We look forward to seeing you there.

Co-Curricular Awards 2018

On Wednesday 24 October we acknowledged our top art, culture and sporting students at the Co-Curricular Awards. Congratulations to all of the students who received an award for their outstanding success in their respective co-curricular areas. We also wish to thank our staff and volunteers who willingly give up their time to support our students in their co-curricular endeavours. At this awards, we also farewelled our Director of Sports, Miss Forsyth. We thank Miss Forsyth for her service to the College and wish her all the best for her future.

Labour Day - School Closed

Puhoro Academy

On Monday 27 August the third and final wānanga for the Pūhoro STEM academy students was held at Massey University. This event followed a Biology theme with students completing epidemiology, veterinary science and anatomy practicals. Students were taught how to suture wounds, analyse crime scenes, and perform lung and heart dissections. These trips give students of Māori decent from around the region an amazing opportunity to investigate different careers in Science and make connections with Massey University.
