Enrolments for 2024

Awatapu College welcomes enrolments from across Palmerston North at Years 9-13.
New Year 9 students for 2024 please follow the line above only
Enrolments for students who wish to transfer from another school are required to complete the Expression of Interest form. This applies to all Years 9-13
As part of the enrolment process, we ask that you bring with you the following documents:
• a copy of your child's most recent school report
• a copy of your child's NCEA transcript, if applicable
• proof of New Zealand Citizenship (birth certificate or passport)
If your child is not a New Zealand citizen, please contact our International Department for more information regarding international enrolments.
Open Night 2023
Students and parents/caregivers interested in joining Awatapu College in 2024 are warmly invited to attend our Open Night on Tuesday 25 July at 5.30pm. Please assemble in the Awatapu College Gymnasium. Enquiries at all year levels are welcome.
Enrolments for 2024
Please complete the Expression of Interest form on the side of this page or collect a form from the school office. Once we have received this form, we will be in contact with parents to confirm an enrolment interview. Enrolment interviews for students entering Year 9 in 2024 will take place on either Thursday 31st August 2023; Thursday 7th September 2023; Tuesday 12th September 2023; Wednesday 13th September 2023 at the College.
Year 8 Visit for 2024 Intake
Students entering Year 9 in 2023 will be required to visit the school - date to be advised. The students will be at the College from 9am-11am. Monrad staff will walk students back to school. Students from other schools will need to be picked up at 11am. If a student is unable to attend, their parent/caregiver must phone the office on 06 356 4817 to make other arrangements.
